This post office is in one of the most dynamic, artistically active neighborhoods in New York City, with many, many studios and a growing number of art galleries. The red building reflected in the windows is PS 1, a cutting-edge MOMA museum. MOMA stands for "Museum of Modern Art" and is a world-famous museum located in Manhattan. PS 1 is its avant-garde little sister.
I thinks some of the most elegant and esthetically-pleasing buildings in New York City are the old post offices. I like to call them "poetry in concrete."

This is great. Windows look as if they have flags of different nations hanging on them. captured the beauty of the PO architecture.
